Aspire® is a professional development opportunity designed for all educators who teach middle school (grades 6-9). This training equips ELA and content-area teachers in implementing adaptable, evidence-based strategies rooted in the Science of Reading to assist students with improving their reading and writing. Aspire® empowers educators with the knowledge and tools needed to support students struggling with literacy, fostering proficient readers and writers in the classroom.

This training requires a one-year commitment consisting of:

  • Attending a virtual Aspire® Kick-off in July or at the beginning of August
  • Participating in three face-to-face training sessions
  • Completing online training and Bridge to Application activities
  • All work must be completed by May 15th

Session 1: Monday, September 8, 2025
Session 2: Thursday, November 20, 2025
Session 3: Tuesday, February 24, 2026
