CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention is considered the worldwide standard for crisis prevention and intervention training. With a core philosophy that provides for the care and safety of everyone involved in a crisis situation, the program’s proven strategies provide the skills to safely and effectively respond to anxious, hostile or violent behavior while balancing the responsibilities of care.

This evidence-based program is aligned with PBIS and national standards. It is among a few select programs recommended to fulfill the requirements of Missouri Law (RSMo 160.263).
Learn how to:
Most effectively respond to each behavior to prevent escalation
Use verbal and nonverbal techniques to defuse hostile behavior
Resolve a crisis before it becomes violent
Cope with your own fear and anxiety
Use CPI’s Principles of Personal Safety to avoid injury
Completion of full session provides CPI Certification.
