CPI Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Refresher | February 21, 2025 | 12:30 PM - 4:00 PM CT
CPI’s Nonviolent Crisis Intervention Training gives participants the skills to build an effective culture of safety within their organizations. It is designed to help professionals in any setting provide the best possible Care, Welfare, Safety and Security for individuals presenting a range of crisis behaviors.
The purpose of this program is to build on participant’s knowledge and skills to recognize, prevent and manage crisis behaviors using person-centered and trauma-informed responses. Participants will begin to establish a common philosophy and framework for your organization’s culture of Care, Welfare, Safety and Security.
NOTE: CPI refresher attendees must take the CPI initial training before they are eligible for refresher trainings. Refresher trainings must be taken within 13 months of initial certification or previous refresher training. Exceptions to this requirement must be approved by the instructor prior to registering for the training. Refresher attendees will be required to show a current CPI Blue Card at the time of training.
