CareerTrek New & Improved is the exciting new update to Missouri Connections’ elementary career exploration resource. It is a highly interactive platform with a visual format and audio/text instructions where students can connect careers with interests, skills and engage in brief career overviews.
What’s new:
- 6 guided career exploration activities/modules - 1 for each grade level
- Portfolio-based access that allows students to save their information - AND those portfolios can be transferred to the Junior and High School version of Missouri Connections
- The Career Creator tool that allows students to create and draw their own career after completing each activity/module
- CCI Quick Pic - an elementary version of the popular Career Cluster Inventory
- Site Administration accounts that enable educators to access student portfolios and run reports
- Curriculum/classroom activities to assist educators in the implementation of the platform
Michelene Carbol serves all our member districts by supporting their comprehensive counseling program and implementing Programs of Study and Individual Career and Academic Plans. She also provides Missouri Post-Secondary Success training to support embedding intra and interpersonal competencies into curriculum. Michelene has over 20 years of experience in education assisting schools and students with career counseling, advising, college and career readiness, school engagement and training. Michelene is passionate about advocating to ensure all students have rich experiences in exploring career options and preparing them for the ever-changing demands of the American workforce.

Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the event start date will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 10 business days or less are not eligible for a refund.
If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
No-shows will be billed in full.
The cancellation policy applies to all forms of payment including Learning Service Credits.
