Cognitive Coaching is a process through which educators explore the thinking behind their practices. The ultimate goal is to self-monitor, self-analyze and self-evaluate.
If you are looking for an alternative to external evaluation, participants will learn how to:
- Develop trust and rapport
- Utilize conversation structures for planning, reflecting and problem solving
- Develop teacher autonomy and sense of community
- Develop higher levels of efficacy, consciousness, craftsmanship, flexibility and interdependence
- Utilize the coaching tools of pausing, paraphrasing and posing questions
Use data to mediate thinking
Attendance is required at all eight sessions:

DAY 5: Monday, March 3, 2025

Toni Prickett is a national and international trainer that has the privilege of working with teachers, administrators, state education agencies, universities and the international schools. Her areas of expertise include Cognitive Coaching, Adaptive Schools, Presentation Skills and Robert Kegan's Stages of Adult Development. Additionally, Toni is the co-developer of Harvesting Diversity to Create Resourceful Systems with Carolyn McKanders. Her undergraduate and graduate degrees are both in mathematics education.

Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the event start date will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 10 business days or less are not eligible for a refund.
If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
No-shows will be billed in full.
