Cognitive Coaching is a process through which educators explore the thinking behind their practices. The ultimate goal is to self-monitor, self-analyze and self-evaluate.
If you are looking for an alternative to external evaluation, participants will learn how to:
*Develop trust and rapport
*Utilize conversation structures for planning, reflecting and problem resolving
*Develop teacher autonomy and sense of community
*Develop higher levels of efficacy, consciousness, craftsmanship, flexibility and interdependence
*Utilize the coaching tools of pausing, paraphrasing and posing questions
*Use data to mediate thinking
