Components of Effective Literacy | February 1, 2024 - March 14, 2024 | 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM CT
This series is comprised of modules anchored in the science of reading. Each module addresses the different elements skilled readers possess as well as the instructional elements necessary to produce success in reading. Research-based practices are modeled and examined with participants to provide the opportunity for quality decision-making with regard to instruction and use of curriculum.
Sessions will dive into "what works" and provide hands-on application for preventing reading difficulties and intervening effectively to close the gap for struggling students.
This series must be completed sequentially beginning with Module 1 without skipping or randomly taking sessions apart from the whole.
Attendance is required at all three sessions:
Module 1: Thursday, February 1, 2024
Module 2: Friday, March 1, 2024
Module 3: Thursday, March 14, 2024
