Together we will support learner variability and differentiate instruction to meet the needs of all learners with research-based strategies and resources found in the Discovery Education Experience. Explore UDL literacy tools such as closed captioning, video transcripts, reading levels and Microsoft Immersive Reader. Spend time exploring the ELL and SEL Channels, Equity Talks and Learning for Justice.

There will be short demos with independent exploration and Q&A. Please ensure you can login to your DE account or contact us in advance for assistance.

Dr. Stephanie Madlinger works with EdPlus members, METC members and educators across the world in the areas of technology education, computer science, STEM and digital citizenship. She is a certified trainer providing learning opportunities that include Google Apps, Microsoft Office and the ISTE Standards. Stephanie has worked in education for over 25 years, serving as a Classroom Teacher, Instructional Coach, District Leader and Adjunct Professor. Stephanie is passionate about advocating for the thoughtful use of technology, both personally and professionally.

Lindsay Schmidt serves our members by helping to develop behavioral systems of support, facilitate professional development for beginning teachers and is an ISTE Certified Educator and Trainer. Lindsay has worked in education for over 12 years as a Classroom Teacher, Consultant and Professional Development Facilitator. Her background is in elementary and early childhood education, special education, math, science and technology. Lindsay is passionate about empowering educators, building capacity and action planning to increase positive outcomes for educators and students.

Rob Greenhaw serves our members by providing consultation to schools that are working to implement high-quality, comprehensive and collaborative educational programs for English Learners.Rob also conducts professional development workshops that focus on providing practical strategies to instruct and assess EL students at all levels and across content areas. Rob has 14 years educational experience in a variety of roles including Spanish, Elementary and EL teacher as well as EL Program Coordinator. Rob is passionate about working with teachers to help them feel confident in their ability to meet the needs of their English Learner students who he believes can not only meet grade-level standards, but exceed them.

Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the event start date will incur a 20% cancellation fee.

Cancellations made 10 business days or less are not eligible for a refund.

If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.

No-shows will be billed in full.

The cancellation policy applies to all forms of payment including Learning Service Credits.
