ELevate 2026| June 3-4, 2026 | 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM
The ELevate conference is designed for K-12 educators to learn best practices and gain new strategies for creating inclusive and effective learning environments, and network with other educators throughout the region and state who have experience working with English Learners. This conference is for leaders, EL educators and content teachers who have EL students within their classroom. All can gain valuable learning experiences and practical strategies that can be applied to the classroom and their school communities.
This two-day event will feature over 35 breakout sessions presented by EL educators from around the region. All registered attendees will receive a copy of Andrea Honigsfeld’s book, Nine Dimensions of Scaffolding.

Andrea Honigsfeld is a professor in the School of Education at Molloy College. She was the recipient of a doctoral fellowship at St. John’s University where she conducted research on individualized instruction and has served as an English-as-a-foreign-language teacher in Hungary and English-as-a-second-language teacher in New York City. She has published extensively on working with multilingual learners and teacher collaboration. She received a Fulbright Award to lecture in Iceland in the fall of 2002. In the past 22 years, she has been presenting at conferences across the United States, China, Denmark, Japan, the Philippines, Sweden, Thailand, the United Kingdom, and the United Arab Emirates.

If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
No-shows will be billed in full.
