FBA in a Day! | June 26, 2024 | 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM CT
Participants will understand that all behavior serves a function and match interventions with the function. Participants will learn about the components of a Functional Behavior Assessment. After understanding each component, participants will complete an FBA using fictitious student data. Each participant will leave with an exemplar of an FBA. Further, participants will have access to coaching on creating an FBA within their own school or district.
Dr. Nicole Conaway serves our member districts by developing staff capacity with behavior management strategies, data collection and interventions. She has thirty years of experience in education as a special education teacher, special education coordinator, climate\culture coordinator, assistant principal and principal. She has 15 years of experience serving as a school administrator in a high-risk, low-income district. She is passionate about working with schools to ensure all students receive what they need as individuals to succeed in the classroom and beyond, because fair doesn’t always mean equal.

Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the event start date will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 10 business days or less are not eligible for a refund.
If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
No-shows will be billed in full.
