Join us for a full-day professional learning experience at Hancock Place High School, where a culture-first mindset drives our shift to Personalized Competency-Based Education (PCBE).
This immersive visit includes interactive workshop sessions, classroom observations, tabletop exercises, and candid conversations with both students and teachers. You’ll also enjoy a school tour, seeing Competency-Based Education in action - from targeted learning time to real-world experiences that prepare students for life beyond high school.
A highlight of the day is hearing directly from the voices that matter most: our students and teachers. They’ll share how learning is made visible, evidence of growth is gathered, and authentic conversations around the artifacts that shape their educational journey.
Breakfast and lunch will be provided, giving you time to connect with colleagues and reflect on the experience.
You’ll leave inspired, informed and equipped with practical ideas you can adapt in your own context.

With over 17 years of experience in educational leadership, David Williams is the principal at Hancock Place High School, where he’s leading the charge on personalized competency-based education (PCBE) and data-driven instruction. David is passionate about creating a strong school culture that supports both students and teachers.

If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
No-shows will be billed in full.
