Individual Career & Academic Plan (ICAP) Activities | September 30, 2026 | 10:00 AM - 12:00 PM

Learn how Missouri Connections supports ICAP implementation through DESE approved career and postsecondary planning activities for grades 8-12. This session will explore grade-level activities, student and staff views, reporting features and practical strategies for meeting MSIP 6 and Senate Bill 638 requirements while creating meaningful student experiences.
All sessions will be recorded and made available following the event. Participants are welcome to attend individual sessions or the entire series based on their role and interests. This session is strongly recommended for those who are new to Missouri Connections or seeking a comprehensive overview of the platform and its capabilities.
Michelene Carbol serves all our member districts by supporting their comprehensive counseling program and implementing Programs of Study and Individual Career and Academic Plans. She also provides Missouri Post-Secondary Success training to support embedding intra and interpersonal competencies into curriculum. Michelene has over 20 years of experience in education assisting schools and students with career counseling, advising, college and career readiness, school engagement and training. Michelene is passionate about advocating to ensure all students have rich experiences in exploring career options and preparing them for the ever-changing demands of the American workforce.
