Making Quality Eligibility Determinations | February 27, 2024 | 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM CT
This training will focus on the evaluation process from pre-referral to eligibility. We will examine how decisions are being made regarding which students to evaluate, how to determine what information needs to be gathered through assessments and how to use that information in eligibility decisions.
Information regarding the content of evaluation reports, based on the standards and indicators, will also be included.
Jeanne Rothermel works with our school districts on topics relevant to compliance with special education laws, policies and procedures. Jeanne has 36 years of experience in the field of special education both at the teacher and administrator levels. She is passionate about teachers providing services to students that are intentional, strategic and designed to promote real learning.
