New Special Education Teacher Academy | September 28, 2026 - December 14, 2026 | 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM
This multi-session training is designed for New Special Education Teachers. In addition to the information provided about the Special Education Process, Writing Quality IEP’s and Progress Monitoring, we will discuss struggles new teachers often face and share helpful resources. Compliance to the Missouri State Plan and the Standards and Indicators will be stressed.

With 28 years of experience in special education, Cheryl has served as a Special Education Director, Process Coordinator, Diagnostician and Administrator. Passionate about educational excellence and inclusion, Cheryl continues to serve as a resource and leader in special education, dedicated to advancing best practices and building sustainable frameworks that support all learners.

If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
No-shows will be billed in full.
