Learn how to plan for routines and procedures and classroom set up. Explore the use of Minute by Minute Plans to carefully create a schedule to accommodate all learners given the complex routines of a special education classroom. Learn how to create systems for behavioral expectations and gain tips on responding to inappropriate behaviors.

Jeanne Rothermel works with our school districts on topics relevant to compliance with special education laws, policies and procedures. Jeanne has 36 years of experience in the field of special education both at the teacher and administrator levels. She is passionate about teachers providing services to students that are intentional, strategic and designed to promote real learning.

Dr. Nicole Conaway serves our member districts by developing staff capacity with behavior management strategies, data collection and interventions. She has thirty years of experience in education as a special education teacher, special education coordinator, climate\culture coordinator, assistant principal and principal. She has 15 years of experience serving as a school administrator in a high-risk, low-income district. She is passionate about working with schools to ensure all students receive what they need as individuals to succeed in the classroom and beyond, because fair doesn’t always mean equal.

If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.

No-shows will be billed in full.
