This training is for school districts in Special Education Tiered Monitoring Cohort 2 who will be doing their self-assessment during the 2024-2025 school year. It will provide critical information about the special education monitoring process and walk through the steps for using IMACS 2 to complete the required special education self-assessment, provide initial evaluation timeline data, C to B transition timeline data and submit requested student documents for verification.
Jeanne Rothermel works with our school districts on topics relevant to compliance with special education laws, policies and procedures. Jeanne has 36 years of experience in the field of special education both at the teacher and administrator levels. She is passionate about teachers providing services to students that are intentional, strategic and designed to promote real learning.
