Special Education is specially designed instruction, at no cost to the parents, to meet the unique needs of a child with a disability. The Specially Designed Instruction module focuses on federal regulations associated with this type of instruction including what this instruction looks like, who it is intended to serve and many other aspects.
Kathy Russ serves school districts throughout the state by providing professional development for teachers and paraeducators in topics that support the needs of students with disabilities in all class settings. She has over 29 years of experience in education in special education, speech-language therapy and school leadership, including roles as Assistant Principal and Principal. Kathy is passionate about ensuring all students receive robust instruction and thrive under high expectations.

If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
No-shows will be billed in full.
