Teaching the Principles of Civics and Patriotism Grades 6-12 | June 10, 2024 | 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM CT
Attendees will receive training on the new Civics and Patriotism framework that will be released by the Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education (DESE) for the 2024-2025 school year.
During this three-hour workshop, participants will:
- learn about the new framework
- interact with Missouri teachers who developed the lessons
- discover strategies to integrate content into existing curricula
- collaborate with fellow teachers
Educators who attend this session will receive a $150 stipend. The school district will also be be eligible to receive $1000 to purchase resources that support Civics and Patriotism instruction.

Cancellations made more than 10 business days before the event start date will incur a 20% cancellation fee.
Cancellations made 10 business days or less are not eligible for a refund.
If an event is cancelled due to inclement weather or low enrollment, a full refund will be issued.
No-shows will be billed in full.
