The Special Education Process: From Referral to Eligibility | January 21, 2025 | 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM CT
This workshop will focus on compliance with the special education process from pre-referral to eligibility. We will explore resources, timelines and all required components of this process. We will not be addressing writing the IEP in this session.
This workshop is designed for staff with less than 3 years experience or can serve as a refresher.
Jeanne Rothermel works with our school districts on topics relevant to compliance with special education laws, policies and procedures. Jeanne has 36 years of experience in the field of special education both at the teacher and administrator levels. She is passionate about teachers providing services to students that are intentional, strategic and designed to promote real learning.
