Using Missouri Connections for IEP’s & Transition Assessments | December 4, 2025 | 9:30 - 11:30
Missouri Connections is a free, online career planning/development tool available to everyone in Missouri. This training is specifically for individuals working within Special Education.
Participants will explore components used to gather information to determine students’ interests and skills for future education, employment and community living. Educators will be able to apply this information in student IEP’s and Transition Assessments, specifically the new Form C to ensure positive post-secondary school outcomes.
Michelene Carbol serves all our member districts by supporting their comprehensive counseling program and implementing Programs of Study and Individual Career and Academic Plans. She also provides Missouri Post-Secondary Success training to support embedding intra and interpersonal competencies into curriculum.
Michelene has over 20 years of experience in education assisting schools and students with career counseling, advising, college and career readiness, school engagement and training. Michelene is passionate about advocating to ensure all students have rich experiences in exploring career options and preparing them for the ever-changing demands of the American workforce.
